I wanted to let everyone know that my Uncle Jerry has passed away. Jerry not only started JB Gun Belts but he was also dedicated to everything else in his life. He served in the Air force for over 20 years and then took a mail carrier position at the US postal service. I cannot thank him enough for all his support and help throughout my life. He passed on his love for leather work to me and I am blessed and honored to carry on his legacy. Rest in Peace Jerry, I love you.

I bought my first Gun Belt from Mike in probably 2010 to 2011 when I was about 31 and love it still. I bought it for daily carry and even carrying a commander 1911 (heavy gun) it never failed to impress with no sag at all. As an underground miner I reached out to him to have some underground belts made to carry our life saving air supplies and he worked with me to facilitate 3-4 of these for heavy duty underground use for my crew; they are still holding up since 2012. About 5-6 years ago I had gained some weight and needed a larger belt which he made no problem. Circle back and currently, I''ve lost weight and gone back to the original and she's as good as the newest one. I highly recommend taking the dive and giving Mike a chance at making you a belt for life. Thanks again Mike and I'll be in touch soon as my my Wife needs a nice belt made up custom to her wants. Great quality gun belt that can pass for a dress belt for concealment purposes. Mike was very responsive and great to work with when I had questions about my order.
This is a great belt and my second one. It seems that at age 73, I'm still a growing boy. I could have ordered a one inch bigger but, I got the size I ordered.

All of the quality from a premier crafter of essential gear. This is not an overstatement. This is the second gun belt which Armourbelts has hand built for my needs.
The 1 1/2" belt is firm and relaxes with wear without developing deformation and compromised integrity. I have carried IWB and OWB sidearms along with two magazine holders with no discomfort or concern with my gear flaring outward or becoming unsafely dislodged. I have worn this belt for years in wet and dry conditions ranging between -30°f and 110°f.
This belt looks very evenly colored in my choice of leather stain, is nicely double stitched, is set up with a strong and quiet buckle and is handsomely laser etched with the Armourbelt logo and size along with my name on the interior liner (Very nice touch). I DO like the durability and versatility of the Chicago screws which bind my choice of buckle to the leather. I switch between the provided buckle and my western buckle with ease. (set up just like my horse saddles).
In my opinion Armourbelts is due your attention because of the crafter's attention. If I tear through these belts in the future I will not be calling on Armourbelt's generous craftsmanship warranty... I will reorder another one of the same well-crafted belts.
