FAQ
What makes this a gun belt and not a dress belt?
It is full-grain leather, about 5/16" thick, and built to stay flat under a holster. A regular dress belt folds and sags. This one is made for IWB and appendix carry.
Should I get 1.25" or 1.5"?
1.5" is the workhorse for most full-size and compact pistols. Choose 1.25" if your belt loops are tight. Both are the same thickness.
How do I measure for size?
Do not send pant size or waist size. Measure a belt that already fits, or measure around your waist with the holster in place if you carry IWB. Instructions are on the Measuring page. A gun belt that is 1" off is a bad belt.
Can I change the buckle later?
Yes. The buckle is held on with Chicago screws, so you can swap buckles without sewing.
How stiff is it?
It starts stiff on purpose. That stiffness is what keeps the holster from rolling. Expect a short break-in. It is not meant to feel like a fashion belt on day one.
Where is it made?
Each belt is handcrafted in Michigan, USA, cut to the size you order.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders are built and shipped within about a week.
