I haven’t tried but a few carry belts, mainly a couple of Hank’s belts. By comparison, this is much stiffer and sturdier. To be fair, the Hank’s were not the same rating as this one is. The first time I put this on I had to really struggle to get it fastened. It is starting to get easier to fasten, after a couple weeks of daily use. It is a new experience for me to wear such a robust belt. I would not have thought it would make such a difference but it is great to feel so confident with the absolute security of this belt. I have found my new favorite belt. It is beautifully made and is a top notch piece of gear. I would highly recommend it.

Will last a lifetime

I have been wearing my elephant inlay belt for a couple weeks now to hold my full size 1911. It has preformed phenomenally. Is is VERY stiff and robust. The belt distributes the weight of a heavy gun so well that you almost don’t even notice. It allows for comfortable carry all day long.

On the other side of things, it’s a beautiful belt! I have already received many compliments on it. I will be purchasing another one soon, but a 1.25” to wear with suits and such.

Two layers of leather will provide the perfect amount of support and strength for your open or concealed carry firearm. With a double layer of full grain leather stitched with high quality nylon thread, your Elephant inlay Gun Belt will never sag or roll—even while carrying a heavy firearm.

The Elephant inlay Gun Belt comes in 1.5-inch width. I cut and assemble each belt to the exact specifications of your order. We don’t just offer one or two choices and call that a signature series, we offer complete color choices with choice of nylon military-grade thread colors, and quite a few different quality buckle choices. We punch all our oval holes by hand rather than using a standard round punch kit like most other high production companies. This ensures that the belt will be easy to fasten and provide the correct fit for the buckle.

We then finish off the belt with two different sizes of Chicago screws to hold the buckle in place. These screws can easily be removed from the leather belt to accommodate your own buckle if you would like.

To match the rest of the belts’ strength, and to make sure the Leather has a perfect finish, our leather belts receive not one, but three coats of finish ensuring the highest quality of protection. We top off our handmade leather gun belts with an interior marking of your name and size indicated for easy reference when you decide to add another to your collection.
